Objectives
What is I&R?
Information and Referral is the process of helping people to
understand their problems and make informed decisions regarding possible
solutions. Information and referral programs are the traditional point of
contact for people in the community who require information about or linkage
with human service providers. People in need can use I&R programs to
find the services that can best alleviate or eliminate that need.
